Abstract

A nursing philosophy provides the foundation for professional advanced nursing practice and guides the development and application of scientific nursing knowledge. Integrating core nursing concepts such as holism, compassion, and respect with established nursing theories offers a meaningful framework for delivering patient-centered care. This integration supports the advancement of nursing knowledge while strengthening the role of evidence-informed practice in clinical decision-making. As a result, nursing philosophy and theory serve as essential foundations for contemporary nursing practice by promoting professional growth, clinical reasoning, and high-quality patient care.
